Image processing for scientific illustration

The Biocity Turku Research Programme “Advanced Bioresources and Smart Bioproducts – SmartBIO” will organize a hands-on course about image processing for scientific illustrations at 18.-19.12.2017. This course is open for everyone working in SmartBIO.

The aim of the course is to teach scientists from different research fields how to handle and process digital images into the final publication figures. The course will introduce various image processing techniques and their applications, the emphasis being in Corel Graphics programmes. The teacher is Sebastian Söderlund and the course will be of course held in English.
