The Johan Gadolin Process Chemistry Centre at Åbo Akademi University, Pöyry, VTT and Turku Science Park/Smart Chemistry Park organizes in collaboration with the Lignin Ecosystem the seminar “You can make anything out of lignin – also money” Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Arken, Auditorium Armfelt, Fabriksgatan 2, Åbo.

The seminar will bring forth the industrial point of view of lignin recovery, utilization, and business opportunities together with some highlights from research conducted in academia and at research institutes.

The “Lignin ecosystem”, one of the Tekes biospearheads, is a key initiative in this respect, also notable on a global level, and the latest updates and ideas from this ecosystem will be presented.

The seminar language will be Finnish but the presentation materials and posters will be in English.
