Introduction to R Programming, 13 March – 10 April 2025

Are you looking to enhance your data analysis skills?

Join us for our upcoming course on R Programming, designed specifically for beginners without a programming or statistical background! All you need to participate is a laptop with R and RStudio installed. This course will provide you with essential skills to navigate R and RStudio effectively.

Course Structure: 5 engaging in-person sessions
Session 1: Introduction to R, RStudio, and Basic Programming
Session 2: Data Manipulation with R
Session 3: Data Visualization in R with Case Study 1
Session 4: Statistical Analysis in R with Case Study 2
Session 5: Reproducible Research with R Markdown

Course Schedule: all sessions will be held in the Stroma lecture room on the 6th floor of PharmaCity
Session 1: March 13, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Session 2: March 20, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Session 3: March 27, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Session 4: April 4, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Session 5: April 10, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

We can accommodate up to 24 participants for this course. In case we have more participants than seats for the course, we will have to do some selection. If you are accepted to the course, we will inform you about it during the first week of March 2025.While this course is primarily designed for doctoral researchers, postdoctoral researchers and senior researchers are also welcome to join.
