IPC2020 Virtual Conference on Polyphenols
It is now time to look at the updated schedule and deadlines, and discounted fees of the XXX International Conference on Polyphenols (ICP2020TURKU) that will be organized fully virtually on 13–15 July 2021. We plan to have a great virtual meeting that takes benefit of all recent developments in these virtual platforms. We also appreciate your help in developing the informal breakout sessions!
SUBMIT YOUR 1-PAGE ABSTRACT NOW, IF YOU WANT AN ORAL PRESENTATION
We use the 1-page abstracts to choose the oral presentations. You can submit or modify your abstract until 28 February. Note that selected poster presentations will also have the possibility for a 3 min talk in the main session. For that you must send your 1-page abstract by 28 February 2021. If you do not want an oral presentation, you can move directly to the 2-page manuscript submission that will be opened in April. These manuscripts are included in the Polyphenols Communications proceedings with an ISSN number.
DISOCUNTED REGISTRATION FEES MAKE ICP2020TURKU HIGHLY AFFORDABLE
The conference registration has been opened. The significantly discounted registration fees make ICP2020TURKU a great opportunity for young scientists especially, since travel and accommodation costs are obviously low as well. Still, you can apply for the GP Grant to make the conference even more affordable!
SPECIAL ISSUES OF TWO SELECTED JOURNALS ARE DEDICATED FOR THE POST-ICP PAPERS
After the conference, you have a chance to submit your scientific contribution to special polyphenol issues of Phytochemistry or Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. This is a great opportunity to get enhanced visibility for your research in these high quality journals.
VIRTUAL PLATFORM WILL BE OPEN FOR THE WHOLE OF JULY
Recent progress in the virtual conference platforms strongly suggests that we can have a very solid scientific conference with different types of possibilities for the exchange of research findings and ideas. For instance, we plan to open the platform early July so that posters can be viewed and discussed via the chat function. We also leave the virtual platform open after the conference so that the recorded oral presentations can be viewed and discussed by everyone.
POST-CONFERENCE BREAKOUT SESSIONS FOR INFORMAL DISCUSSIONS
For you convenience, we organize breakout sessions on topics that are requested by the ICP delegates. Let us know your preferred topics for these sessions by email (icp2020turku@utu.fi).
Let’s show the world how one tiny virus cannot halt polyphenol sciences from flourishing! We are looking forward to organizing a great ICP2020TURKU meeting for you.
