SmartBIO Early-Career Researchers’ Symposium is coming again!
Are you ready to connect with other young researchers and enjoy an exciting day of science and fun?
We are thrilled to invite you to the SmartBIO Early-Career Symposium 2024! Join us for flash talks, interactive workshops, and a special networking event at Herrankukkaro, Naantali featuring a relaxing smoke sauna and hot tub! Bus transportation will be provided for both directions.
Event Details:

Time: 8:30 – 22:00
Location: Herrankukkaro, Naantali, Finland
Bus Pickup: 8:30 am from Turku Cathedral (left side of the Cathedral while facing the Aura river from the entrance)
Registration:
The registration link has been distributed via emai to all SmartBIOers. The event is limited to 40 participants, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Kindly note that registration is binding, so if you are unable to attend, please notify us as early as possible to avoid last-minute cancellations.
The event is now full! You can ask for cancellation seats from the organizing committee.
What to Expect:
- Flash Presentations: Share a one-page slide with a 3-minute talk introducing yourself, your research, or promoting your articles/tools. Send your slide by November 20th, 2024.
- Workshops & Discussions: Engage in round-table discussions and collaborative workshops to exchange ideas and build connections.
- Village tour: Guided tour in the Herrankukkaro premises.
- Smoke Sauna & Hot Tub: Bring your swimsuit to enjoy the world’s largest smoke sauna. Towels will be provided.
